img_7894_1024I joined Swansea in Sept 2016. I spent the four years prior to this in the windy city- hence the picture of me in front of Chicago’s “bean”. Simple structure, but you can spend hours in front of it, taking distorted pictures. In reality I am 6ft tall. In Chicago I learnt how to run, dance and sing. Okay, maybe not the singing part, but maybe I will pick that up here in Wales. I picked up running and am currently training for the Cardiff Half Marathon. I also discovered a passion for Latin Dancing in Chicago, followed by a place where you can get the best Tacos. Ask me for good Chicago tips, should you ever decide to visit the wonderful city.

In my spare time, I research all things insomnia.  I am interested in optimising non-drug options for insomnia such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). It is important to make sure people implement our recommendations, it is available, and it is applicable to insomnia patients with different types of comorbidities. In my latest study I wanted to know how feasible and acceptable an online CBT intervention for insomnia was for females with chronic migraines.

Welcome to Swansea! I am looking forward to meeting you all soon.

To find Megan go to the 9th floor of Vivian Tower, walk through the double doors and turn right. Follow the corridor round and Megan’s office is on the left hand side.
