Deputy Head of Department – Associate Professor
Room: 817 Vivian Tower
As well as being a member of the Psychology Department and teaching brain and behaviour, I’m Deputy Head of College for Learning, Teaching and Professional Practice. This means that I oversee all of the teaching programmes in the college from nursing and midwifery to social work and of course psychology! I work closely with student reps and the psychology society to make sure your student experience is top class. I like walks on the beach, camping, drinking tea and finding out how the brain works. I have worked at Swansea University for 12 years and I have three children, one of whom is started as a fresher at Kent University last September studying philosophy so I know all about what it’s like to settle into university life. I am originally from Gloucester – if you are too make sure you call in to say hi, may be you went to my old school?
