Me in my ‘dad rock’ days
  1. I’m rather keen on computer games, especially of the FPS sort. My all-time favourite game is probably S.T.A.L.K.E.R.  To my surprise, I don’t play MMORPGs, despite taking-up the D&D dice in 1978.
  2. I’m a huge fan of Doctor Who (‘my’ Doctor is Jon Pertwee) and sci-fi films.
  3. I listen to heavy rock (apparently referred to by younger folks as ‘dad rock’ – whatever that is), folk music and a sprinkling of goth.
  4. I did my PhD here in Swansea, went away for a few years, but couldn’t stay away.

My first job was as a hospital porter and then an auxiliary nurse.  I was clearly taken by this line of work because I still study health behaviour to this day.  My current interest is in the way people process health-related information (e.g. how attitudes to health behaviours are generated).

To find Rob, go up to the 7th floor of Vivian Tower, walk through the double doors and turn right. Turn right again at the corner, and continue to walk down the corridor. Rob’s office is the 6th door on the left.
