IMG_6041As well as being a member of the Psychology Department and teaching brain and behaviour, I’m Deputy Head of College for Learning, Teaching and Professional Practice. This means that I oversee all of the teaching programmes in the college from nursing and midwifery to social work and of course psychology! I work closely with student reps and the psychology society to make sure your student experience is top class.

I like walks on the beach, camping, drinking tea and finding out how the brain works. I have worked at Swansea University for 13 years and I have three children, one of whom is at Kent University studying philosophy so I know all about what it’s like to settle into university life.

I am originally from Gloucester – if you are too make sure you call in to say hi, may be you went to my old school?

To find Michelle’s office get off the lift at the 1st floor, turn right after going through the double doors by the lift, turn right again and walk to the end of the corridor, Michelle’s office is on the left hand side.
